Marcia focuses her practice on general civil and trial practice, business, municipal law, regulatory compliance and probate. Marcia was certified in mediation through the University of Houston in 1998. Born in Baytown, Texas, Marcia was licensed to practice law in 1989.
Through the course of her career, Marcia practiced over ten years as an Assistant District Attorney serving both Montgomery and Jefferson Counties. Her trial experience includes the representation of companies with employment related disputes. Marcia has also represented clients in hearings with the Texas Natural Resource Commission, Texas Railroad Commission and the Public Utilities Commission. She is admitted to practice in the Southern District of Texas.
Marcia and her husband, Tom, have two daughters. In the county, Marcia serves on the Board of Directors for both the Conroe Symphony Orchestra and Montgomery County Community Partners. Marcia serves as chairperson of the legal committee at her church. She is a Board Member of the 2006 Cattle Baron’s Ball funding cancer research. Marcia is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Montgomery County.
